GRUNTLIFE was founded from a deep passion for the hunt and a commitment to honoring the veteran community.

The love for bowhunting started on base — shooting bows in downtime and making quick trips to the mountains between deployments. These moments laid the foundation for a passion, but it wasn’t until I moved back to the Midwest and started elk hunting that the true obsession took hold.

Elk hunting propelled my obsession for bowhunting to a new level. I was dedicated to becoming the best bowhunter I could be and learning every step of the process, which led me down the rabbit whole of bow maintenance, tuning, and arrow building. As that obsession took hold and the drive to be self-reliant kicked in - I dove into building my own deer, elk, and turkey calls.

This led to the creation of GRUNTLIFE. I wanted to build game call’s that weren’t a meaningless call off the shelf but had underlying purposes. I envisioned something clean, reliable, and a theme that gave veterans something to relate too. GRUNTLIFE wasn’t built in a boardroom. It wasn’t built with the focus of high sales and higher margins. It was built from two things that shaped who I am. A relentless obsession for the hunt, and time in service that forged the person I became. Our mission is simple: Create quality hunting gear that highlights military service and upholds the same standareds. Game calls is where GRUNTLIFE started, but it is not where we will stop. We are excited to share what we have created and hope this passion for hunting will help others.
